SEEDS Iceland is excited to announce an open call for 11 ESC volunteers from Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, or Spain. Join us for a transformative experience from September 2, 2024, to February 6, 2025!

Volunteering opportunity with SEEDS

Duration of Activity:

02.09.2024 – 06.02.2025 (158 days / 5 months)

Vacancies:

  • Total Vacancies: 11 ESC volunteers
  • Countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, or Spain.

Selection/Interview Process:

The selection and interview process will take place sometime in July. Exact dates will be confirmed soon.

Volunteer Roles:

1. Camp Coordinators (8 Vacancies)

  • Assist in coordinating and participating in international Nature & Conservation workcamps around Iceland.
  • Engage in winter environmental educational activities and virtual camps.
  • Participate in social solidarity projects in Reykjavík.
  • Act as a link between Icelandic hosts and international short-term volunteers.

  • Assist in coordinating and participating in international camps focusing on photography and environmental awareness.
  • Coordinate arts and culture projects in Reykjavík.
  • Participate in social solidarity projects in Reykjavík.

2. PR & Communications (3 Vacancies)

  • Based in our office in Reykjavík.
  • Assist in the creation and management of online content for SEEDS social media accounts.
  • Maintain up-to-date quality and performance procedures.
  • Participate in SEEDS artistic, cultural, and educational activities.
  • Engage in social solidarity projects in Reykjavík.
