About the Hosting Organisation
TUDANZAS is an artistic-social movement that facilitates the generation of collective artistic initiatives that encourage sustainable social development in the territory. The TUDANZAS Cultural Association is an entity constituted in 2015, born from what was the TUDANZAS platform since 2012 in the neighborhoods of Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and La
Ribera, Barcelona.
About the Project
This is a cooperation project between diferent countries that will provide a group of 12 volunteers a 20 days experience of cooperation and art community – being part of TUDANZAS SOCIAL FESTIVAL 2020, at Barcelona. The TUDANZAS SOCIAL FESTIVAL is an event that join groups of volunteers, artists and people in general in art and collaboration spaces, in order to promote solidarity and access to artand the expression of all those involved in the process. The Festival is aimed the cultural and intergenerational exchange in this neighborhood located in the center of Barcelona, which has the residence and presence of a large multicultural, multigenerational community and coming from
different social status. TUDANZAS SOCIAL FESTIVAL – 5 days that invite on a trip between conceptual art and traditional art, encouraging the coexistence and influence of cultures, concepts, philosophies and thoughts around the language of the body / dance and their interaction with the socio-urban space
Acivities
The volunteer’s group will integrate different types of activities throughout the 20 days:
A) Training and group cohesion activities and activities to empower the integration in TUDANZAS and its community (Group meetings)
B) Activities that integrate the pre-production, production and post-production of the TUDANZAS SOCIAL FESTIVAL 2020 (Support to the public, team and artists of the TUDANZAS Social Festival; Support to Material and Space Logistics; Dissemination and Advertising; Support in the Kitchen)
C) Participation activities the TUDANZAS Social Festival (Community Art Projects and other festival activities)
In all these group activities you will be accompanied by the TUDANZAS team. At the Festival the group will integrate teams with other TUDANZAS volunteers and will be in contact with artists and public from the local and international community. These activities will create opportunities to relate with different spaces, people and tasks that will allow young people to be in contact with different groups and collaborate with various individuals.
