Erasmus+ youth exchange: Social Activists in Social Media,
8-16 May 2017 Naples , Italy
The youth exchange constitutes the second appointment of the ERASMUS+ “Social Enterprise for Social Change”. The first part was a training course implemented on Gradiška, Bosnia-Herzegovina 14th – 22nd april 2016.
Throughout different activities, participants will have the chance to
improve their knowledge on social entrepreneurship, targeting youth employment issues and discussing about the social exclusion that affects young generations.
Moreover, during the sessions, participants will explore social media
strategies as way to promote project’s campaigns and bolster
relations with other partners and local volunteers.
Sharing working experiences and linking problems of youth, we will try to develop methodologies and build common strategies capable to face youth unemployment and social exclusion.
Methodology used during the project:
- Ice-breakers, energisers
- Inputs from experts
- Intercultural and experiential learning through formal, non-formal and informal exercises
- Variety of visuals for thematic input
- Brainstorming and discussions both in working groups and in plenary
Learning outcomes:
- Promotional content for all local initiatives developed by the participants
- Scaling up these initiatives and exchange of good practices among participants
- Participants use of a set of web 2.0 tools to support local initiatives, stakeholders’ interactions and public outreach Development of new projects and initiatives of international context (8 initiatives)
PARTICIPANTS:
- 5 Cypriots(4 people aged 18-25 plus a leader no age limit)
- 170 euro travel reimbursement each
- accomodation and food: fully covered by the programme
- preferably those who like to sing and have an ear for singing
