The “Sustainability is My Ability” guidebook, created as part of an Erasmus+ funded training course, offers a comprehensive overview of sustainability practices tailored for youth workers. Held in Oroslavje, Croatia, in June 2023, the training involved 30 participants from seven EU countries. The guidebook, developed by trainers Abraham Azzopardi and Christian Mizzi with support from Nezavisna udruga mladih, covers key environmental issues, tools for youth engagement, and practical activities like “Mocktail” and “Becoming Sustainable” sessions to foster awareness and actionable steps toward sustainability. It emphasizes balancing social, economic, and environmental factors to ensure long-term well-being and resource availability. The publication reflects the collective efforts to educate and empower young individuals on sustainable practices, underlining the critical role of education and community involvement in combating climate change and promoting environmental stewardship.
