ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
1 Volunteer for 2 months .
Volunteers will be working with PlanBe on daily Erasmus+ related tasks, as well as with the implementation of Erasmus+ projects. They will be working on daily Vlogs on new skills. They will design environmental workshops in schools and communities. They will be interacting with the local volunteers and members of our organisation on a daily basis. They will have the opportunity to bring in their ideas. In cooperation with communities, we will manage and organise depends on the needs of each community, cleaning campaigns, tree plantings, working in parks aiming to be more friendly and suitable for the kids and youngsters, visit elders places and spend creative time with the older people there, support during the local/traditional festivals the communities.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
the Volunteers will live in a shared flat in Nicosia’s suburbs. An allowance will be given for food and pocket money every month. Participants are allowed to travel 1-2 days before the arrival day or 1-2 days after the departure day.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
In the begging volunteers will have preparation training with their coordinator and mentor. They will participate in on-arrival and mid-term training organized by the National Agency. They will have the chance to participate in a series of workshops with a professional life coach about personal development. The volunteer’s learning experience will be supported by tools and methodologies on how to learn and acquire hard and soft skills.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Volunteers must be motivated for social and cultural activities and wish to undertake an intercultural learning experience. Be open-minded and creative enough to have personal initiatives through the project and to be flexible to work in an intercultural environment. No former international experience or language skills are required to apply for the positions. Between 18-30 years old. They should show a sense of creativity or inventiveness as the activities include arts and crafts.
