About the project:
The main objective of the “Youth for Sustainable Communities” youth exchange is to bring together young people from different countries to explore sustainability, wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, and intercultural understanding through nature-based learning and outdoor experiences.
The project aims to create a space where participants can reconnect with nature, reflect on more conscious and sustainable ways of living, and develop meaningful relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds. Through non-formal education and experiential learning, participants will discover how small actions can contribute to positive change in their local communities.
The youth exchange will take place in La Zarza de Pumareda, Salamanca, Spain, from 13 to 18 July 2026.
The activities will take place in an outdoor setting, focusing on nature-based, participatory, and intercultural activities. Participants will engage in workshops, group discussions, outdoor experiences, reflection sessions, and non-formal learning activities designed to promote wellbeing, sustainability, emotional awareness, and active participation.
Each participant is expected to actively contribute to the programme, support group activities, and help create an inclusive and respectful environment throughout the exchange.
