The Good Seed Project: Storytelling for Environmental Wellbeing, Wierzchosławice, Poland

About the project:

The “Good Seed Project: Storytelling for Environmental Wellbeing” is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that aims to empower young people to become active agents of environmental change through creativity, intercultural cooperation, and storytelling.

The project will bring together young people from different countries to explore biodiversity loss, exchange perspectives from their cultures and communities, and develop ideas for positive environmental action. Through a creative and participatory process, participants will discover how storytelling can be used as a powerful tool to raise environmental awareness and inspire change.

Storytelling is the main creative methodology of the project. Working in intercultural teams, participants will explore the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss and transform what they learn into imaginative stories. During the Youth Exchange, participants will create five original fairy tales, complete with illustrations. The stories will then be published as digital booklets in seven languages: English, Polish, Arabic, Ukrainian, Armenian, Spanish, and Greek.

The Youth Exchange will take place in Wierzchosławice, Poland, 16-24/10/2026.

The activities will include storytelling workshops, creative writing and illustration activities, intercultural teamwork, discussions and reflections on biodiversity and environmental challenges, as well as communication and dissemination activities. The programme will follow a non-formal and participatory learning approach, encouraging participants to share their ideas, experiences, and creativity.
