The Erasmus+ youth exchange “You(th) and A(I)”, successfully brought together young people from different European countries to explore how Artificial Intelligence is shaping our societies, relationships, and future opportunities. Through non-formal education and intercultural dialogue, participants developed a deeper understanding of both the potential and the ethical challenges of AI.
The exchange was based on workshops, presentations, forum discussions, creative happenings, and interactions with local residents and tourists. Participants actively used social media, worked in English, and engaged in reflection and evaluation activities, alongside national evenings that strengthened intercultural exchange. The project enhanced digital literacy, critical thinking, empathy, and social responsibility, emphasizing that technology should serve humanity, inclusion, and sustainable development.
Feedback from the Cypriot team:
During the Erasmus Youth Exchange program in Poronin, Poland, from 28 December to 5 January, we felt deep satisfaction and gratitude for everything we experienced together. Surrounded by snowy landscapes, we shared intense days of learning, creativity, and connection, enjoying the winter atmosphere that made the experience even more special.
We participated alongside young people from five countries , Cyprus, Portugal, Ireland, Slovakia, and Poland creating a truly multicultural environment. The Cypriot team consisted of eight people, most of whom met for the very first time during this project. Despite this, we quickly bonded, building a strong sense of trust and a friendship, not only within our team but also with participants from the other countries.
Through interactive workshops, collaborative activities, and hands-on sessions focused on Artificial Intelligence, we explored new ways of expressing ideas, solving problems, and communicating beyond traditional methods. This youth exchange introduced us to AI concepts and tools in an accessible and creative way, encouraging experimentation, critical thinking, and teamwork.
This Erasmus experience in Poronin was unforgettable , full of connection, creativity, and meaningful relationships that we will carry with us for a long time.
Κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος Erasmus+ Youth Exchange στο Poronin της Πολωνίας, από 28 Δεκεμβρίου έως 5 Ιανουαρίου, νιώσαμε βαθιά ικανοποίηση και ευγνωμοσύνη για όλα όσα ζήσαμε μαζί. Μέσα σε χιονισμένα τοπία, μοιραστήκαμε έντονες ημέρες μάθησης, και δημιουργικότητας απολαμβάνοντας τη χειμερινή ατμόσφαιρα που έκανε την εμπειρία ακόμη πιο ξεχωριστή.
Συμμετείχαμε μαζί με νέους και νέες από πέντε χώρες (Κύπρο, Πορτογαλία, Ιρλανδία, Σλοβακία και Πολωνία) δημιουργώντας ένα πραγματικά πολυπολιτισμικό περιβάλλον. Η κυπριακή ομάδα αποτελούνταν από οκτώ άτομα, οι περισσότεροι από τους οποίους γνωριστήκαμε για πρώτη φορά μέσα σε αυτό το πρόγραμμα. Παρ’ όλα αυτά, δεθήκαμε πολύ γρήγορα όχι μόνο μεταξύ μας αλλά και με τους συμμετέχοντες από τις άλλες χώρες.
Μέσα από διαδραστικά εργαστήρια και δραστηριότητες με επίκεντρο το ΑΙ, εξερευνήσαμε νέους τρόπους ιδεών, επίλυσης προβλημάτων και επικοινωνίας πέρα από τις παραδοσιακές μεθόδους. To youth exchange μας έφερε σε επαφή με έννοιες και εργαλεία του AI με δημιουργικό τρόπο, ενθαρρύνοντας τον πειραματισμό, την κριτική σκέψη και την ομαδικότητα.
